Felony Cases Heard in District Court

Brownwood News – District Attorney, Micheal Murray, says that felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court.  Judge Stephen Ellis presided.

Christopher Lee Taylor, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Taylor, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone was adjudicated and sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Also, Taylor, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to  twenty-four (24) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Zackery Lee Binion, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jarrod Logan Mata, on probation for the felony offenses of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Assault Family Violence-Occlusion was revoked and sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Summer Bishop, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Bishop, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Simulated Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Fifteen (15) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Justin Pierce, pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jessica Perez, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Alyshia Michelle Winstead, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Robbery was revoked and sentenced to Six (6) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Paul Anthony Gallardo, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Six (6) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Nathan Crye, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Diego Rodriguez, pled guilty to the felony offense of Vehicle Involved in Accident and was sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Terry Shade, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone was adjudicated and sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Shade, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Twenty-four (24) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Annette Luxton, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger and was sentenced to Eighteen (18) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

James David Baker, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to Sixteen (16) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Dustin Nicholas, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Forgery was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Tony Cunningham, pied guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Charles William McCutchen, pied guilty to the state jail felony offense of Theft-Metals and was sentenced to Six ( 6) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
