Ginny Lou Nieto, 61

Ginny Lou Nieto, age 61, of Rising Star, passed from this life on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Rising Star.  She was born on July 23, 1957 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to William Emmitt and Drucilla (Brockway) Steele.  She married Manuel Nieto on April 16, 1979 in El Paso.

Ginny worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Rising Star Nursing Center for many years and also as a nursery worker for May First Baptist Church where she was a member.

Ginny loved her grandchildren, her dog Chloe and God very much.  She enjoyed watching TV, playing games, reading and talking with friends and family.

Ginny is survived by her children, Michael Nieto and spouse Shaun Conley of Arkansas, Jessica Nieto of May and spouse Mike, Amanda Aguirre and spouse Rodolfo of Cactus; Sylvia Harrell of El Paso, Dolores Robertson of Louisiana, Alice Knox of Washington and Manuel Nieto, Jr. of El Paso; 21 grandchildren, including Zachary and Ashley of May and Azalea, Zavian, and Joel of Cactus; her siblings, Billy, Lyle, Jimmy, Jerry Mabel and Gloria.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in the May First Baptist Church.

Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
