Brownwood News – Brown County Sheriff’s report released Tuesday, May 28, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Public Nuisance – On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Deputy Hammonds, had been made aware of a Public Nuisance at Dublin Dr. A report was made.

Agency Assist / Evading in Vehicle – On 5/23/2019, at around 11:56 PM, Early Police were dispatched to a possible drive-by shooting on Salt Creek Drive. Moments later a reckless driver call was received in the same area with a similar vehicle description. Deputies responded to assist. The suspect vehicle was located and a short pursuit was initiated by Early Police. The driver, ANDREW DELOSSANTOS, had active warrants. The driver stopped on CC Woodson near the Brownwood Coliseum to surrender himself to officers.

Livestock Estray – On Friday, May 24, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM, Deputy Scotty Burke, responded to the above address. This was in reference to found livestock (horse) report and investigation. 

Theft $750<$2500 –  Burglary Motor Vehicle – On 5/24/2019, Deputies were approached by Jerry Woodcock, who reported an old friend and neighbor, a suspect, stole items from inside a junk car and from the yard. A report was made.

Burglary Habitation – On 5/24/2019, Corporal Taylor Fletcher, was approached by a suspect, who reported an old friend and neighbor, the victim, stole items from inside a junk car and from the yard. The victim said members of the the suspect’s family had instead burglarized his camper. Another report was made.

Criminal Trespass – On May 24, 2019, at approximately 10:58 PM, Deputy Jose Rodriguez, was dispatched to Blue Quail Dr in Blanket, Texas. This was in regards to a burglary in progress. After further investigation, suspects had fled on foot and nothing appeared to be taken from the residence at that time. A report was made.

Terroristic Threat – On 5/24/19, at approximately 6:13 PM, Deputy Hopson, was contacted by a victim, who advised a known suspect threatened her. The incident is still being investigated.

Theft of Property >$750<$2500 – Criminal Mischief >$100<$750 – On 5/25/19, at approximately 4:26 PM, Deputy Hopson, responded to Whispering Oaks Ln,. This was for a theft report. The victim advised several items had been stolen. The incident is still being investigated.

Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse-Against Elderly – On 5/26/19, at approximately 12:08 AM, Deputy Hopson, initiated a report for Credit Card Abuse. The victim advised an unknown suspect used his credit card without his consent. The incident is still being investigated.

Burglary of Habitation – On 5-26-2019, at about 6:32 Am,  Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at W Main Blvd in Brownwood, TX. This was in regards to a burglary. The deputy spoke to the Victim, who stated two Suspects had kicked in his front door and taken property from him.
