Brownwood News – The Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers are pleased to announce that BRMC Volunteer Judy Grabow has been named the March 2019 BRMC Volunteer of the Month. Judy was made aware of her selection during the April 2019 Meeting of the BRMC Volunteer’s Executive Board.

Judy Grabow joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in February 2011. She is the Chairperson of the BRMC Intensive Care Waiting Room Volunteers. She is also a Volunteer in the BRMC Emergency Room Waiting Area. It was announced, during her selection as March 2019 BRMC Volunteer of the Month, that she had stated on her application to be a BRMC Volunteer, that she was need at BRMC as a Volunteer because she had worked at The Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and thus had all kinds of skills. Her statement on her application was correct and has resulted in Judy contributing in many areas at BRMC as a Volunteer. Judy is always ready to assist with any project for the BRMC Volunteer Organization. She uses her friendly personality and organizational skills to effectively perform the responsibilities of each of the BRMC Volunteers Areas in which she participates.

We thank Judy for choosing to be a BRMC Volunteer and for her many contributions to BRMC and its Volunteer Organization. Judy has accumulated 1220 hours of Volunteer Service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet individuals who are interested in becoming a volunteer and the organization is actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in serving others a minimum of 6 hours per month, being a BRMC Volunteer will meet your needs. Volunteering at BRMC is also a way of giving back and improving your community. BRMC Volunteer applications may be obtained in the BRMC Gift Shop, at the front entrance information desk, online at http://www.brmc-cares.com or by calling the BRMC Volunteer Office at 325-649-3399 or emailing the BRMC Volunteers at brmc_volunteer@brmc-cares.com and stating that you would like to become a BRMC Volunteer. Those who have an interest in volunteering may also contact Andrea Lee, BRMC Director of Volunteer Services, at 325-649-3392.
