BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: MARCH 13, 2019

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Wednesday, March 13, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. On Tuesday March 12, 2019, at approximately 6:09 AM, Officers responded to 1500 Magnolia Street in reference to a vehicle that was burglarized. After speaking to the owner of the vehicle a report was generated.

While on patrol on March 12, 2019, at approximately 12:00 PM, Corporal Acosta met with the victim of theft at the Law Enforcement Center. A report was made for Theft of a Firearm.

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at approximately 1:14 PM, I was dispatched to the 300 block of Center Ave in reference to an assault. I arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant about the incident. A report has been made.

On Wednesday March 13, 2019 at approximately 12:30 AM, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th street regarding an unwanted person. When officers arrive the individual was interviewed and she was allowed to leave the property. When she left the property officers informed the reporting party of her departure, and officers left the scene. Approximately 30 minutes later officers were again called to the residence, but the reporting party informed officer the female that was asked to leave earlier had assaulted him. The reporting party wished to pursue charges and a report was generated.
