Early Police Reports: Woman arrested after pursuit

Brownwood News – Early Police Department reports released Monday, February 4, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

The reports are as follows:

On February 1st at approximately 3:15 p.m., Corporal Michelle Sheedy was traveling on Belle Plain in her marked Early Police car when a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe sped past her at a high rate of speed. Cpl Sheedy activated her emergency lights and siren in an attempt to stop the vehicle due to its reckless driving and speed. The vehicle began to flee from Cpl Sheedy. The vehicle continued in and out of traffic lanes at a speed higher than the posted speed limit. The vehicle hit several curbs and ran through a red light. Brownwood Police Department arrived to assist in the pursuit as the vehicle continued to travel in a reckless manner. The vehicle eventually pulled into a driveway in an alley in the 1500 block of Ave A in Brownwood. The female driver was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. Officers eventually searched the vehicle and located marijuana, an assortment of prescription pills as well as a loaded syringe that will be sent to the lab. The driver, identified as Sunsearah Marion White, was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail and charged with Evading arrest with a vehicle, Reckless Driving, Possession of marijuana, Possession of dangerous drugs, Disregard Red light, Improper right turn, Drove on wrong side of road, driving while license suspended.

  • Welfare check / 130 block of Sudderth Dr
  • Theft / 900 block of Early Boulevard
  • Suspicious / 900 block of Early Boulevard
  • Suspicious / 900 block of Early Boulevard – subject hanging around store acting strange

February 1st

  • Medical / 200 block of Hillcrest Drive.
  • Disorderly Conduct / 900 block of Early Boulevard – customer acting Irate
  • Animal at large / 100 block of Lisa lane
  • Welfare check /  Person located in Brownwood
  • Traffic stop-pursuit / Austin Ave
  • Medical / 100 block of Northline Drive
  • Burglary / 1000 block of Early Boulevard

January 31st

  • Suspicious / 100 block of Early Boulevard
  • Alarm / 100 block Rainbo Drive
  • Suspicious / 1300 block of Early Boulevard
  • Hit and Run Accident / 900 block of Early Boulevard

January 30th

  • Reckless Driver / 1000 block of Early Boulevard
  • Suspicious / 100 Williams Drive
  • Warrant Service / Early Municipal Court warrants, Bexar CO SO warrants
  • Alarm / 100 block of Early Boulevard
  • 911 Hang up / 200 block Garmon Drive
  • Reckless Driver / CC Woodson
  • Traffic Stop / Early Blvd-Longhorn Dr. 1 person arrested for possession of marijuana

January 29th

  • Accident / 1600 Blk East Highway 377. FIRE/EMS responded. Air Evac transported 1 child to Cooks. DWI arrest on the driver

January 28th

  • Runaway Juvenile / 800 block of Early Boulevard
  • Alarm / 130 Sudderth
  • Suspicious Call / 900 block of Early Boulevard
  • Noise Nuisance / 100 Salt Creek Dr
