2010ReunionLogosmallReunion fever is sweeping Brownwood as the circus themed celebration gets set to kick off on Friday, and officials with the 10th Annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration report that advance ticket sales have shattered all previous record numbers.

“Normally, between 1000 and 1500 advance tickets are sold for the main stage concerts,” said Reunion Executive Director Randee Green.  “Advance sales are right around 4000 for this year so far.”

Green credited the increase in ticket sales not only to a great concert line-up, but to an unbelievably low advance price of $10 for a three day pass.  Organizers said they picked the low price to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Reunion, and to give something back to the community.

Although advance ticket sales have ended, fans of Reunion can purchase the three day wristbands for $20 at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce until 5pm on Thursday.  They will also be available at the concert gate beginning at 4pm on Friday.

The 10th Annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held Sept. 17-19 in Brownwood, featuring headline concerts from Kevin Fowler, Bart Crow Band, Johnny Cooper, and Crawfish. The celebration is an annual event in Brownwood that draws tens of thousands of visitors to the area to enjoy shows, contests, kid’s activities, live music, parades, and more.
