BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: NOVEMBER 19, 2018

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, November 19, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

Friday, November 16

  • Approximately 7:50 a.m. a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a tan passenger car for speeding over the limit (school zone) in the 300 block of Bluffview Dr. Narcotics were found. A suspect was arrested for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
  • Approximately 9:51 a.n. A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to a north Brownwood address in regard to a theft of property. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant who informed them that items were stolen from inside a fenced area. The complainant wished to pursue charges and a report was generated.
  • Approximately 12:41pm Brownwood Police was dispatched to a South Brownwood address in regard to a male subject pouring bleach into complainant’s vehicle gas tank.
  • A Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop. During the traffic stop Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were performed and a suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd a Class A Misdemeanor.
  • Approximately 9:48 p.m. Brownwood Police Officers responded to a North Brownwood Business to take a report of a burglary of a vehicle. An investigation has begun and a report has been completed.

Saturday, November 17

  • Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a North Brownwood address in reference to a disorderly conduct call. An investigation was conducted and a report was completed.
  • Approximately 7:30 a.m., a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to a north Brownwood address regarding found property. Upon arrival the property was collected and a report was generated.
  • Approximately 9:15am, BPD was dispatch to a south Brownwood address in regard to a burglary of a vehicle. Complainant noticed belongings missing from their vehicle and wished to pursue charges.
  • Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence for a theft report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
  • About 3:02 p.m. a citation was issued for offenses of barking dog and unvaccinated dog.
  • Approximately 10:00 p.m. An officer was in Wal-mart on an unrelated task and was speaking with a Loss Prevention Associate. The Associate received a phone call from another Loss Prevention Associate asking for assistance with a stop on a suspected shoplifter. Suspect was interviewed and one citation was issued.
  • At approximately 8:50 p.m. a Brownwood Police Officer responded to a South Brownwood residence in reference to a family violence incident. An investigation was conducted. One male was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report has been completed.
  • At approximately 9:26 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 1414 Ave Sin reference to an assault. They arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An arrest was made and report has been generated.

Sunday, November 18

  • At approximately 5:35 a.m. Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a South Brownwood residence in relation to a vehicle striking a gas meter. A report has been completed.
  • Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence for a burglary report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
  • At approximately 12:56am, an officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in regard to a theft of property.
  • Approximately 1551 hours, Several officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood address regarding a narcotics violation. After an investigation, an arrest and a report was completed.
  • The Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to the 1800 block of 16th St. in reference to a theft. An Officer spoke with the complainant and a report was generated for Burglary of a Vehicle, Class A Misdemeanor.
