Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s reports released Monday, October 9, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Friday, October 5th

  • 11:14 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of E. Commerce. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a methamphetamine pipe was discovered, according to the report. John Paul Solis was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1<1G, and Driving While License Invalid.

Saturday, October 6th

  • 11:04 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding an assault. Zackry Massey was arrested for Assault/Family Violence.

Sunday, October 7th

  • 7:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Vincent Street for a burglary call. Police Officers investigated the burglary and a report has been made.

Monday, October 8th

  • 12:20 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Early Boulevard. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Robert Burnell Stanley, who was found to be in possession of 2 grams of marijuana, according to the report, as well as outstanding warrants. Stanley was arrested.
  • 9:48 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 4200 block of US 377 regarding a domestic disturbance.
  • 7:57 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Crockett regarding an assault.
