In observance of the Labor Day Holiday, City Hall will be closed and there will be no collection of residential waste on Monday, September 6th.  Residents with blue or green carts, please note that your collection days are as follows:

*Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday

*Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday

*Thursday’s and Friday’s routes will not be affected by the holiday

The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday, during the normal business hours.

The City collects brush and tree limbs from residential customers at no charge, please cut them into lengths of 5 feet or less and notify the Sanitation Department at 643-4200.

For problems related to water or sewer service within the city of Brownwood, customers may call 646-6000 24 hours per day 7 days a week.
