Excitement filled the air Saturday evening as Early Longhorn fans celebrated Purple Day where they were introduced to the middle school and high school students participating in athletics, cheerleaders, drill team, band, and dance.

A fun filled evening was in store for those in attendance with food, ice cream, and loads of fun with kid’s activities, all to help raise money for the school booster clubs.

The highlight of the event was the introduction of the 2010 Early Longhorn football team.  Fans showed their enthusiasm and appreciation for this year’s team after their win Friday night against Cisco.

The Longhorns will face Eastland this Friday at their first home game of the season.
