Barbara Reed Bigham

Funeral services for Barbara Reed Bigham, age 59, 0f Brownwood, Texas will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early.   Mrs. Bigham passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.  

Barbara was born on January 21, 1959 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Bud and Martha Reed.  After graduating from Cross Plains High School, Barbara married Charles Bigham at Coleman, Texas in 1985.  She was a homemaker and attended Victory Life Church.  Barbara loved sewing, cooking, watching the Texas Rangers, gardening and plants. But, most of all she loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Charles Bigham of Brownwood; son Russell Burks and wife Missy of Bangs; daughter Robin Tyler of Brownwood and Taryn Bigham of Bangs; brothers Rusty Reed and wife Debbie of Cross Plains, Texas, Bill Reed and wife Darlene of Putnam, Texas; sisters Nancy Bishop and husband Wayne of Lake Brownwood, Texas, Dot Loudermilk and husband Chuck of Brownwood, Kay Beck from Brownwood; five grandchildren Clay Funderburg, Carlee Burks, Lexi Tyler, Luke Tyler and Jacob Edwards.  She was also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Edward Bigham and brother-in-law David Bigham.
