Brownwood News – East Elementary held its second annual Hero Buddy Run Wednesday, May 16th.  Students at East participate in a running club during their physical education classes, and the Hero Buddy Run honors local military, police, fire department, sheriff’s department, and EMS personnel by inviting them to walk/run with the students.

The event aims to recognize their service while promoting positive relationships between the students and these heroes.
