BropwnwoodNews.com – A series of museums in Brownwood are joining together to celebrate National Museum Day with a Hyperconnected event downtown this weekend.

[adrotate group=”8″]

The Brown County Museum of History, the Lyric Theater, the Brownwood Public Library, the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lehnis Railroad Museums will feature an interactive event on Saturday the 19th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. that will tie all locations together.

A series of QR codes will be located at each of the venues along the scavenger hunt trail, with questions tied to them. Answering each question correctly makes the participant eligible to win a prize that will be announced once the contest is over via social media and with a phone call to the winner.

Snapchat, an iPhone camera, or a QR reader app can be used to scan the codes. The scavenger hunt will need to be documented on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #BWDHyperconnected to be considered.

More information about the event can be found by calling the Lehnis Railroad Museum or emailing Crystal Stanley at cstanley@brownwoodtexas.gov

The event is free, and begins at 10 this Saturday morning in historic downtown Brownwood.
