Brownwood News – The market steer show of the 2018 Brown County Youth Fair took place on Friday at the Youth Fair Barns in Brownwood. Grand and Reserve champions were awarded as well as a showmanship awards. Robert Hill was this year’s event judge. Hill is an Agricultural Science teacher at Montgomery High School. He has taught for 27 years. He graduated from Tarleton State University in 1991, and has shown and raised cattle for 35 years.

This year’s fair had over 2,000 entries from over 400 participating youth. This is the 66th year for the well-loved community event showcasing the hard work of area youth.
