Bangs and Brownwood teams participated in the TTAB Boys High School Eligible Baseball Tournament which wrapped up Sunday in Hillsboro with Bangs coming out on top.  Bangs went 3-0 in Pool Play on Friday and Saturday to be seeded No. 1 in the State Tournament.  Bangs downed Raines, Eustace, and Corsicana Blue in pool play.

Bangs had a first round bye to take out Wortham and Raines to secure their spot in the State Championship game against Brownwood on Sunday.   Bangs came out on top, 4-1, to win the game and giving Brownwood runner-up spot.

Teams that participated in the tournament included Wortham, Teague, Clyde, Goldthwaite, Bynum, Corsicana Blue, Rains, Timpson, Eustace, Hill County, Corsicana Gold, Midalothian, DeKalb, Brownwood, and Bangs.
