Teri Reed, age 53, of North Lake Brownwood passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church; burial to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Teri was born to Jack and Karen (Goff) Reed on October 1, 1964, in Salina, Kansas. She graduated high school from North Polk Junior-Senior High in Alleman, Iowa. After high school, Teri attended Des Moines Area Community College and received her degree in nursing. She was a nurse and teacher for many years.

Teri was strong in her faith and never complained throughout her illness. She always put others needs in front of her own and always looked to God for her strength especially during her illness. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Teri loved to fish, quilt, embroider, and work with her hands.

Teri is survived by her parents, Jack and Karen Reed of North Lake Brownwood; siblings, Jeff Reed and wife Ginny of South Carolina, Dianna Reed of May, and Wyatt Reed of North Lake Brownwood; niece, Kelsey Reed of North Lake Brownwood; and her three legged dog, Scarlet. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
