Press Release – Brownwood City Hall and other non-emergency city facilities will close Monday and Tuesday December 25 and 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday. The following city facilities and services will operate on a holiday schedule:

Solid Waste Collections:  The following schedule will apply to residential curbside trash routes for the week of Christmas:

• Monday’s collection will take place on Wednesday Dec 27
• Tuesday’s collection will take place on Thursday Dec 28
• Thursday’s collection will take place on Friday Dec 29
• Friday’s collection will take place on Saturday Dec 30

Please have your carts out by 7 a.m. to insure collection; Call 325-643-4200 with questions.

Landfill and Recycling Center on FM 45:  Will close Saturday December 23 and Monday December 25 and will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday December 26. Call the Landfill at 325-646-6574 and the Recycling center at 325-641-8832 with questions.

Utilities: Emergency services are available for water line breaks and sewer backups 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 325-646-6000.

Regular operational hours for all City facilities will resume on Wednesday December 27.
