Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, July 23, 2010.

Wednesday, July 21

*At  4:48pm, Brownwood Police responded to the Oakwood Apartments in reference to a burglary.  A list of stolen property was obtained and the investigation is ongoing the report states.

Thursday, July 22

*At 1:00am, Brownwood Police were called an assault in the 600 block of Coggin.  The report stated that further information provided led to an investigation of aggravated assault.  No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

*At 8:49, Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of E. Commerce in reference to a suspicious person.  The report states that contact was made with the store manager who advised the suspicious person was believed to be stealing.  The male suspect, identified as 22-year-old Emanuel James McCloud, was arrested for Theft of Property, >=$50<$500 with previous conviction(s).

*At 10:35am, Brownwood Police were dispatched to 307 W. Baker in reference to theft.  According to the report, an investigation determined that a trailer had been stolen from the business.

Friday, July 23

*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 74-year-old Wesley Wayne Childs for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.

* Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 52-year-old Delores Hillyard Johnson for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
