Funeral Services for Lillie Haynes Beaird, 96, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Justice officiating.  The family will receive friends 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.  She passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 in a Brownwood Nursing Home.

Lillie was born on April 13, 1914 in Brown County to Henry E. and Bessie M. Cavel Haynes.  She was married to Howard C. Beaird on June 5, 1943 in Brown County and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1985.  She was a retired bookkeeper, a lifetime member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Brownwood.  Lillie enjoyed traveling, quilting, sewing and crafts.

Survivors include:  sister: Pauline Taylor; Nephews:  Norice Taylor of Liberty Hill, Texas; Darrell Haynes of Brownwood, Texas; and Larry Taylor of Stephenville, Texas. Great Nieces and Nephews: Melissa Cranford of Irving, Texas; Stephen Haynes of Brownwood, Texas; Scott Haynes of Granbury, Texas; Zack Taylor of Stephenville, Texas; Sunday Garza of Cedar Park, Texas; and Katy Taylor of Norfolk, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Frank and Emmett Haynes and one sister Belle Cheatham.
