Press Release – Latch Key would like to introduce their Governing Board and Staff for 2017-2018 School year. “Our board members volunteer their time to ensure that the program is smooth running and safe year round. These individuals set up fund raisers, help carry out fund raisers and volunteer their time to the well-being of the program,” a recent email from the organization explained.

Board members come from different professions and each adds their own talents, connections and experiences to the program in everything they do.  They attend monthly board meetings, help plan and carry out fundraisers and make major decisions for the program.

Board members pictured are:

The Latch Key Program staff are all students of Howard Payne University participating in the Work-Study Program. Each member of the staff is responsible for their
individual classrooms. These staff members decorate their room, plan and carry out their activities for their classroom and ensure the safety of the students that are in their care. Staff also help with homework each afternoon to ensure that it is finished before parents arrive to pick them up. This allows parents more quality time with their children in the evenings.

Latch Key is a United Way organization.
