Michael “Perky” Perkinson

Funeral Services for Michael “Perky” Perkinson, age 27, of May will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Victory Life Church with Brandon Fagan officiating; private family interment. No visitation will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Michael passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, at home surrounded by his loved ones.  Michael was born on April 30, 1990, to Dicky Perkinson in Hale Center, Texas. He graduated from Grandview High School in 2009. Michael married the love of his life, Shawnee Perez, on June 13, 2014, in Brownwood. He was employed with Tech-Line.

Michael loved hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He never met a stranger; he was “the life of the party”. He loved hanging out with his family and friends. Michael was a very devoted family man who loved his girls dearly.

Michael is survived by his wife, Shawnee Perkinson of May; daughters, Mia and Michaela of May; father, Dicky Perkinson and wife Yvonne of Covington; brothers, Brandon Perkinson and wife Deb of Brownwood, and Steven Perkinson of Brownwood; sister, Shonda Perkinson of Vernon; grandmother, Janet Perkinson of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Perkinson.
