Richard Mason

Richard Lee Mason, 46, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at his home in Zephyr. He was born January 6, 1971 to Rick Dee Mason and Linda Fox in Colorado City. He was married to Tonya Lee Mason. He attended Zephyr Baptist Church. After serving eight years in the United States Navy, Richard worked as an Agent for Remax Real Estate and on the White Ranch as a Hunting Guide. His outside interests included Hunting, Taxidermy, and Bull Riding.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother Linda Fox and his sister Lynette Sawyer.

Survivors include his wife, Tonya Lee Mason of Zephyr, a son: Anthony Joseph Mason, two stepsons, Jake LeClair and Jesse LeClair. Brothers: Lane Williams, Dewey Coy, Jason Coy, David Davis, Heath Mayes, and Tommy White. Grandchild: Einarr Thomas LeClair; his father, Rick Dee Mason.  He is also survived by his special dad and mom, Mike and Billie Alldredge.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Zephyr Baptist Church.  Another memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday July 7, 2017 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder. Interment of the cremated remains will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery in Colorado City.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Richard may be made to Buckmasters American Deer Foundation.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
