Press Release – Brownwood City Hall and MuniCipal offices will be closed Tuesday July 4, 2017 in observance of Independence Day. The Police, Fire Departments, and other critical city services will remain unaffected by the closure. Regular operational hours for all City facilities will resume on Wednesday July 5th.

Residential curbside trash routes for Tuesday July 4th will be collected on Wednesday July 5th. Please have your carts out early to insure collection; and in order to prevent litter, bag your waste and tie securely before placing in carts.

Emergency services are available for water and sewer needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. After hours emergency water line breaks and wastewater backup calls can be made to Police Dispatch at 325- 646-6000.

City of Brownwood Municipal Landfill and Recycling Center on FM 45 will also close Tuesday July 4th. Questions concerning the landfill can be addressed by calling 325-646-6574.
