Cary Cheshire to Speak at Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Meeting

Brownwood News – Cary Cheshire, Leader of the Capitol Bureau for Empower Texans & Texas Scorecard, will be the guest speaker at The Pecan Valley Republican Women’s monthly meeting on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

The Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Club, cordially extends an invitation to members of the community to attend their upcoming monthly meeting, featuring Cary Cheshire as guest speaker on Thursday, June 22nd, at 6 p.m. at the Parish Hall of the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1800 Good Shepherd Dr. The Hall will open at 5:45, and light refreshments will be served. You do not need to be a member to attend. You may RSVP to Jessica at 325-200-5930.

Mr. Cheshire will be speaking on, “What Happened in the 85th Session of the Texas Legislature and What to expect in the Special Session, called by Governor Greg Abbott.”

Empower Texans are about Ensuring the Lone Star State shines brightly with empowered citizen-leaders holding elected officials accountable. Texas Scorecard scores legislators’ votes taken during each Legislative Session.

Cary Cheshire leads the Capitol Bureau for Empower Texans & Texas Scorecard. Cary is a 6th Generation Texan, and attended Texas A&M University, where he was active in a number of conservative causes including Ted Cruz’s Senate campaign. He has also worked on campaigns to elect conservatives to both Congress and the Texas Legislature. Cary enjoys college football and genealogy research.

Time allowing, questions about the Legislature Sessions will be allowed.
