A memorial service for Tim Keely, age 60, of Bangs, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Bangs Church of Christ.  A reception will follow the service.  Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Timothy “Tim” Dale Keely, of Bangs, passed away on May 25, 2017.

Tim was born in Winfield, Kansas to Gene and Geraldine Keely and lived in Rock, Kansas until 1969 when the family moved to Pecos, TX where he would graduate in 1975.  He went to college at Angelo State University and eventually followed jobs to Granite Shoals, TX where he met his beloved wife Tammy. They were married January 1,1983. Tim, Tammy, Kimberly and Patrick moved to Bangs, TX in 1988. They added Honey, Harley, and Stormie to the family in 2005 and they currently still reside in Bangs.  Tim owned Heartland Buildings, Ricochet Express a small trucking company, and multiple other business ventures in Brownwood and was a deacon in the Bangs Church of Christ. He coached many softball, baseball, and football teams and was active in the Bangs community.

He is survived by his wife Tammy, his children Kimberly, Patrick and wife Tiffany, Honey, Harley, and Stormie Keely; his mother Geraldine “Gerrie” Keely; Grandson Stetson Keely; his brother Wes and wife Debbie Keely, his sister Janette and husband Rick Stanton, and many extended family.

The family requests memorials be made to the Bangs Church of Christ Camp Fund.

Condolences, memories and tributes can be offered to the family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net
