A graveside funeral service for Sheryl Annette Pittman, age 54, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.

Miss Pittman died Monday, April 10, 2017 in Brownwood.

Sheryl Annette Pittman was born on October 1, 1962 in Brownwood to Roseanne (Groce) and Jerry Pittman.  She attended May schools and graduated in the Class of 1982.  Sheryl enjoyed Jigsaw puzzles, music, baseball games, and riding the Ranger to go check cows with her daddy.  She was a Baptist.

Sheryl is survived by her parents, Roseanne and Jerry Pittman of Owens, a sister, Debbie Pittman of Owens; her grandfather, L.G. Morris of Brownwood; nephews, Derrick Stephenson and wife Melissa of Paradise, Cooper Stephenson and wife Mandi of Addison; great-nephews, Chayden, Cutter, Karsten, Dylan, Rylan, and Gunnar Stephenson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Jerryanne Pittman, her brother, Dusty Pittman, her paternal grandparents, Alene and R.V. Pittman, and her grandmother, Bernice Morris.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Association, 105 Jenkins Springs Rd, Early, 76802.
