Local gym and fitness center, Fit By Faith, has had another challenging event, “Get a Beach Body With Your Buddy”. Fit By Faith is proud to announce the first camp winners were Marisha Thompson and Shelly Moffat losing a combined total of 30lbs and 34.24 inches! These were both contestants in the popular Quest 12: 12 weeks to a new you competition and said their knowledge learned from this program greatly helped them to have continued success!
This Beach Body With Your Buddy event was a 6 week summer program invented by Fit By Faith to encourage motivation and encouragement during a time when it is challenging to keep your workouts going. Contestants signed up with a buddy and are weighed and measured every 2 weeks and at the sixth week, the combined total body fat % lost and inches determined the winning buddies!
Throughout the competition there are opportunities to have extra workouts such as the Coggin Park Sandpit workout at 10pm, the Midnight Workout and local 5K races to help push people to go to a higher level and higher calorie burn!
Winners each received a 3 month membership to Fit By Faith,the winners each get a customized gold medal, a massage session with Karla Reece at Therapy Solutions and a M.E.L.T. session with David K. Schum, DC.
The combined total lost for all 98 contestants was 289lbs and 609 inches for the six week period!
Another camp begins this Saturday, June 19th and ends July 31st. To sign up simply visit the front desk of Fit By Faith. If you cannot make the Saturday weigh in, you can come the Friday before or Monday after to be weighed and measured.
