Hermon Larry Elliott, 69, of Portales, NM, passed away February 20, 2017 in Bangs, TX. Larry was born May 3, 1947 in Portales, NM to Hermon and Verma Lois Elliott.

He graduated from Portales and soon after joined the National Guard and attained the rank of staff sergeant. He then spent most of his life in eastern New Mexico working as an auto body repairman. Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Surviving relatives include; daughter, Lori Eason and son-in-law Richard of Bangs, Texas; son, Michael Elliott and daughter-in-law Dana of Abilene, Texas; grandchildren Emily Elliott, Caleb Elliott, Payden Eason, and Haley Eason; sister, Herma Loy Smith and brother-in-law Donnie of Brenham, Texas; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Larry will be laid to rest in Portales, NM at a later date.
