3rd Annual Braden Summers Memorial Blood Drive will be Friday, Feb. 24th

Special Release – The 3rd Annual Braden Summers Memorial Blood Drive will be Friday, February 24th from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Early Middle School Gym. Braden Summers was a seventh grader at Early Middle School when he died suddenly after a severe case of pneumonia at just 13 years old.

On Friday, February 24th, Early ISD is hosting the 3rd memorial Blood Drive to honor the teen.

Individuals wishing to donate can set an appointment and register at www.bloodhero.com (Sponsor Code: earlyhs) or call 877-827-4376.  You do not have to have an appointment to donate — they will be accepting walk-ins.  For more information about the blood drive, call Karen Bufe at 325-646-4593.

If you are unable to donate blood and would like help in some way, the school is selling 3rd Annual Braden Summers Memorial Blood Drive t-shirts. Orders for shirts can be placed online at https://stores.inksoft.com/braden_summers_memorial . Order forms are also available at the Early Middle School Library. All net proceeds will be donated to Cook Children’s Medical Center. For more information about t-shirts, call Marie Algiere at 325-643-5665.
Braden is remembered as a friend to all of his classmates, and an inspiration to his teachers and coaches.
