BISD Press Release – Brownwood ISD is now utilizing Remind.com for mobile alerts including weather-related closures, emergencies, and other immediate district-related communications.

The district already utilizes Remind.com in several classrooms.  The platform is familiar to many teachers and parents as an effective method to send and receive urgent updates via text message, email, and push-notifications.

It is important to note that these notifications will no longer be sent through the previous E-Alert system. Parents, teachers, and interested community members are encouraged to sign up for the new service as soon as possible to continue to receive mobile alerts from the district.

To sign up, simply text @bwdisd to phone number 81010 or visit: rmd.at/bwdisd from your web browser.
