Eight Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney, Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.

Michael Eugene Hamilton pled guilty to the felony offenses of Driving While Intoxicated and Assault Family Violence-Enhanced and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

David Michael Pleasant pled guilty to the felony offense of Robbery and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jose Ozona, Jr. pled guilty to three separate felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to Fourteen (14) Years Six (6) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.

Marcus Ray Roberts pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Eight (8) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Juan Martinez Canada aka Jose Leon Martinez, pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Catarino Rivera, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

George William Slayton pled no contest to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Joshua Nickerson pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of Marihuana and was sentenced to Eighteen (18) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Jail Division.
