Press Release from Brownwood Regional Medical Center – Cardiologist, Sanjeev Ravipudi, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Dr. Ravipudi is no stranger to the Brownwood area. He has been a courtesy staff member at BRMC since July 2016. He came to us from Columbia, Missouri where he served as a partner in Missouri Cardiovascular Specialists. Dr. Ravipudi then joined CardioSolution and was eager to provide his expertise in building an interventional cardiology program from the beginning and Brownwood seemed to be a great fit with much potential to meet the needs of the community.

Dr. Ravipudi graduated from University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He then completed his Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at University of Southern California Medical Center.

Dr. Ravipudi is affiliated with Central Texas Heart and Vascular (CTHV), a local physician practice that has teamed up with BRMC to provide more heart and vascular service options than ever before to the Brownwood community. CTHV offers routine heart care, as well as 24/7/365 emergency cardiology coverage and coming in 2017, the practice will have access to a newly equipped catheterization lab located in the Heart Center at BRMC.

Dr. Ravipudi’s areas of expertise include the treatment of complex coronary interventions, implantation of cardiac rhythm devices, and performing all types of peripheral vascular interventions. He puts a strong emphasis on the support of both his patients and the treatment team.
