Donald Paul McKinney Sr

Visitation Services for Donald Paul McKinney Sr., age 71, of Brownwood, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday May 25, 2010 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Thursday in Miami, Oklahoma, with interment following in G.A.R Cemetery. He passed away Saturday May 22, 2010 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Donald was born on August 21, 1938 in Ozark, Missouri, to the late Rosen and Ruth McKinney.

He married June Young on February 9, 1963 in El Paso, Texas. He worked 30 years for Shell Oil Company as a Plant Superintendent. He served in the United States Army, enjoyed researching geneology, and liked to fish in his free time.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, June McKinney of Brownwood; a son, Donald McKinney Jr. and wife Stephanie of Spring, Tx along with their children, Sam and Avery; a daughter, Katherine Hogue and husband Randy of Grand Prairie, Tx and their son Derek; a sister, Pat Chambers and husband Phil of Corning, Ca. and their children Justin, Dallas, and Shasta; two brother-in-laws, Ted Young ,wife Patti and son Tyson, and Bill Young and wife Betty; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
