The Salvation Army of Brownwood will host a Painting with Friends fundraiser from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, November 21st to raise funds for their programs. Those participating will be given step-by-step instructions to paint a whimisical Christmas Elf art piece. All supplies are provided. Cost to attend is $25 per person. Individuals interested in purchasing tickets for the event may contact the local Salvation Army by calling: 325-646-5369. This is the second Painting with Friends fundraising team up with the popular painting spot, owned by Jeremy Serna. Howard Payne University student Lainee Hasty is scheduled to lead the event.

The Salvation Army of Brownwood serves an average of 120 people each day.  Funds raised will be used to help clients through the ministry of the Salvation Army’s soup kitchen, client services (including rent, utilities, assistant with work boots, prescription medication, blankets, heaters, fans, ER, lodging, gas to doctor’s appointments out of town, school supplies, and disaster services).

For more information or to make a donation supporting the Salvation Army programs and services, call 325-646-5369 or visit the Salvation Army at 403 Lakeway Drive.

The selection for the event is posted below:
