
The Arts Council will again host Downtown Brownwood’s annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration Saturday, May 2 from 1 to 10 p.m., and an updated scheduled was recently posted on social media.
Events on the schedule this year include Marciachi Corazon de Texas, Folklorico Dancers, Lucha Libre Wrestling, a Jalapeno eating contest, a grito contest, and a performance by El Gran Sabor de Adrian Dias at end the evening The Cinco de Mayo Celebration of Brownwood is one of the community’s largest annual events, bringing thousands of people to Downtown Brownwood for a full day of live entertainment, local vendors, food, family activities, and celebration.
Held in the heart of downtown, the event transforms the streets into a vibrant gathering space filled with music, culture, and community. Guests can enjoy live performances, shop from a wide variety of vendors, explore downtown businesses, and take part in activities for all ages.
The Cinco de Mayo Celebration is made possible through the support of local sponsors, community partners, and volunteers who help bring this event to life each year.
