LUBBOCK – An unfavorable draw led to an early exit at the Region I-4A tennis tournament for the Brownwood mixed doubles tandem of Blake Hutchins and Ashlyn Bundick.

Facing the defending state champions Daxon Betzen and Kynley Craddock from Canyon Randall, Hutchins and Bundick dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision.

Hutchins and Bundick reached the regional tournament by placing second in District 6-4A.
