Chick-fil-A Brownwood Awards Scholarships to 12 Local Team Members Brownwood, TX — Chick-fil-A Brownwood Owner/ Operator Bridget Jones is proud to announce that 12 local team members have been selected as recipients of the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures™ Scholarship, earning more than $24,000 collectively to support their educational goals. The Remarkable Futures™ Scholarship is a highly competitive program administered by Scholarship America. Each applicant is carefully evaluated based on academic achievement, demonstrated care and service in their community, and the strength of their recommendations. “We are thrilled to celebrate our 12 scholarship recipients this year,” said Bridget Jones, Owner/ Operator of Chick-fil-A Brownwood. “We love supporting our team members as they pursue their academic and professional goals, and we are incredibly proud of the impact they are making both in our restaurant and in our community.”

Since opening in November 2020, Chick-fil-A Brownwood has recognized 48 scholarship winners, awarding more than $108,000 in total to local team members. Each year, Chick-fil-A team members across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada are eligible to apply for scholarships, which can be used at any accredited college, university, or technical or vocational school. Both full-time and part-time students are eligible.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to education. Since 1973, the company has invested more than $244 million in scholarships, including over $29 million awarded this year alone. In addition to scholarship opportunities, all Chick-fil-A Brownwood team members—both part-time and full-time—have access to a tuition-free college program through University of the Cumberlands. This online program allows team members to earn associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees at no cost, including tuition and textbooks, while continuing to work at the restaurant. Chick-fil-A Brownwood is proud to offer these opportunities as part of its commitment to developing future leaders and investing in the local community, and welcomes individuals interested in growing both professionally and academically to explore joining the team: https://chick-fil-a-brownwood.apply-now.us
