Early High School Choir is set to present their annual musical presentation, “Footloose” in three performances this weekend at the Lyric Theatre in Brownwood.

The public is invited to attend.  Performances will be as follows:

Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 pm
Sunday, October 30 at 2:30 pm
Monday, October 31 at 7:30 pm

“Footloose” is the story of Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago who moves with his mother to the small southern town of Bomont and finds that rock music and dancing are illegal. When Ren questions these laws, he finds himself at odds with most of the town, including the Reverend Shaw Moore. With the help of the Reverend’s daughter, Ariel, and new friends Willard, Rusty and the teens of Bomont, Ren convinces the Reverend to let the teenagers have a dance, and in the process helps the town to heal from a tragedy that affected them all.

Tickets are $12 each and are available for purchase at
