More Relay for Life Fundraising Events Scheduled

ACSRelay4LifeBrown County Relay for Life teams are working hard again this week. The public has turned out and given great support to all the teams. This year’s Relay promises to be the biggest and best ever with over 73 teams registered at this time. Below is a list of fundraising events for the week:

Songbird Lodge had a Chef Salad sale on Wed 05/19.  Proceeds benefit Brown County Relay for Life. If you missed this event, please feel free to contact Songbird Lodge to donate to their team’s fundraising efforts.

Cross County Care Center is having brisket plates on Friday May 21st 10:00-2:00 to raise money for the Brown County Relay for Life. Cost is $8.00 for brisket, potato salad, beans, and drink. Delivery is available. For more info call 646-6529.

Walgreen is having a day of fundraising for the Brown County Relay for Life this Sat, May 22nd with several activities.  From 10:00-7:00 they will take family photos and a free 5×7  with a patriotic background will be given to each family.  All packages will have $2.00 off with any donation to the Relay.  Blue Bell ice cream samples will be available from 10:00-2:00 and a bake sale will be going on at the same time.  For more information contact Dynette at 325-513-7839.

Hot dogs, chips, and soda will be available for $2.00 Saturday, May 22nd, 11:00-1:00 in the parking lot of Brookshires to raise money for the Relay for Life team.

Girling Community Care and Girling Home Health will be holding a joint garage sale at the Girling office on the corner of 3rd and Coggin from 8:00-12:00 Saturday, May 22nd. Profits go to the Brown County Relay for Life.

Carroll Fire & Safety is holding a garage sale/bake sale at the corner of Baker and Main Saturday, May 22nd 7:00-3:00 for Team Onie. Proceeds benefit the Brown County Relay for Life
