After 15 years at Coggin Park, the annual Great Easter Egg Hunt is moving to the Early Town Center for 2026.
Join the City of Early and Wendlee Broadcasting at the Early Town Center Park on Saturday, April 4th for The Great Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by United Supermarkets, City of Early, Visit Early, 102.3 Newstalk, and The Breeze 96.9.
Due to the threat of rain, the event will now take place from 2 to 4 p.m., with the Easter egg hunts kicking off at 3 p.m. Age groups are: pre-k and under, kindergarten and 1st grade, and 2nd grade and 3rd grade.
Thanks to United Supermarkets, more than 25,000 pieces of candy will be scattered throughout the park, creating an exciting hunt for kids.
Families can enjoy much more than just the egg hunt! The event will feature Ratliff inflatable bounce houses, complimentary hot dogs courtesy of Bruner Auto, refreshing Dr Pepper, a motorcycle show by Disciples of Harvest Motorcycle Ministry, a car show by Heartland Cruisers, and a chance to explore vehicles from the Police Department, Fire Department, and Texas Forest Service.
Be sure to stop by and snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, who will be available for pictures throughout the event.
Local businesses, organizations, and community volunteers, including area high school students, will be on-site helping make this a fun, safe, and memorable day for everyone.
A special thank you to Aldersgate Enrichment Center for stuffing the eggs, and to Good Samaritan for providing an additional 6,000 stuffed eggs.
Bring your baskets and come celebrate Easter with us at the Early Town Center Park!
