Miguel Perez, 68, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2026. He was born to Eugenio and Josephine Aneira Perez in Lampasas on April 12, 1957.

Miguel was a quiet and humble man whose actions spoke louder than words. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and was known for crafting small trinkets and keepsakes that he lovingly shared with family and friends. Whether it was fixing something that was broken or creating something new, Miguel took pride in the work he did.

He spent most of his life working in construction, a trade that perfectly matched his strong work ethic and skillful hands. Through years of hard work and dedication, he provided for his family before eventually retiring.

More than anything, Miguel loved helping and supporting his children. He found great joy in being there for Michael, Mikey, Joe, and Sylvia, always willing to lend a hand, offer guidance, or quietly show his love through the things he built and repaired.

Miguel was born on April 12, 1957, and grew up in Lampasas, Texas, in a large and lively family alongside his 15 siblings. Growing up in such a big household helped shape his hardworking nature and deep appreciation for family.

Miguel will be remembered for his quiet strength, his kind heart, and the many handmade treasures he left behind for those who loved him.

Miguel was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.

He leaves behind his beloved children, Michael, Mikey, Joe, and Sylvia, seven sisters: Cruz Uvalle, Josie Benavides, Maggie Aguilar, Mercedes Uvalle, Mary Espinosa, Angelita Sanchez, Vivian Perez Uvalle, one brother, Antonio Perez, fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Church in Brownwood, Texas.

Arrangements are entrusted with Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
