Hendrick Health announced today that it has been honored with the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) for the 20th consecutive year, continuing its stretch of unprecedented success among healthcare providers.
The 2026 award signifies that Hendrick continues to be the sole healthcare organization worldwide – and one of only two companies globally – to have received recognition from Gallup every year since the award’s inception. Of the 80 international winners announced in 2026, Hendrick Health is one of nine healthcare systems in the nation and three in Texas to receive the award.
The two-decade run of success highlights Hendrick Health’s ongoing commitment to cultivating an exceptional workplace culture and employee engagement, setting a standard for organizations across industries.
“Winning this award 20 years in a row is an extraordinary tribute to our team of dedicated, exceptional employees, who consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to excellence each day,” said Courtney Head, vice president for Hendrick Health. “This recognition reflects our ongoing promise to provide trusted, compassionate care and to be a healthcare partner the West Central Texas region can rely on.”
Gallup’s research consistently shows that organizations that prioritize both people and performance are better positioned for long-term success. Gallup’s meta-analysis on team engagement and performance is the most comprehensive workplace study ever conducted, with data on more than 3.3 million employees in 347 organizations across 53 industries and 90 countries.
Highly engaged organizations significantly outperform their peers on important business outcomes, including customer ratings, productivity, turnover, safety incidents, absenteeism, quality, well-being and organizational citizenship, Gallup reports.
