Brackets set for NJCAA DIII Women’s Basketball National Championship tournament at Coliseum March 11-14

The NJCAA Division III Women’s Basketball National Championship tournament teams have been announced. The NJCAA selection show for the tournament was broadcast live at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 from their national office in Charlotte, North Carolina and the teams and seeding is as follows:

No. 1 seed: Minnesota West Community and Tech Lady Jays from Worthington, Minnesota

No. 2 seed: Anoka-Ramsey Community College Golden Rams from Coon Rapids, Minnesota

No. 3 seed: Community College of Rhode Island Knights from Warick, Rhode Island

No. 4 seed: Monroe University-Bronx Express from Bronx, New York

No. 5 seed: Fulton-Montgomery Community College Lady Raiders from Johnstown, New York

No. 6 seed: Northland Community and Tech Pioneers from Thief River Falls, Minnesota

No. 7 seed: Owens Community College Express from Perrysburg, Ohio

No. 8 seed: Onondaga Community College Lazers from Syracuse, New York

No. 9 seed: Bronx Community College Broncos from Bronx, New York

No. 10 seed: Jefferson Community College Cannoneers from Watertown, New York

No. 11 seed: Richland College Thunder Ducks from Dallas, Texas

No. 12 seed: Rowan College South Jersey-Gloucester Roadrunners from Sewell, New Jersey

Teams will begin arriving Sunday night, March 8 and Monday morning, March 9 to the Brownwood area. The Tournament Tip-Off Festival will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Brownwood Event Center and will be open to the public. There will be food trucks, DJ music, team meet/greats and so much more. The tournament begins on Wednesday, March 11 at noon with #8 Onondaga vs #9 Bronx at the Brownwood Coliseum.
