COLEMAN – The Early Lady Horns’ season came to an end in the second round of the playoffs for the second year in a row, as again the Clyde Lady Bulldogs played spoiler, 56-53 in overtime, here Thursday night.

Early (25-11) led Clyde (19-15) by a 9-8 score after one quarter, 25-23 at halftime, and 38-36 heading to the fourth period, where the Lady Bulldogs drew even at 47 at the end of regulation.

The Lady Horns received a season-high 26 points from Aliyah Harlan, 14 from Andie Simpson, six from Avery Williams, four from Cali Vargas, two from Cassidy Frerichs, and one point from Mia Gomez.

Gracie Caperton poured in 35 points to spark Clyde followed by 11 from Iley Underwood.
