Culpepper & Merriweather Circus coming to Bangs March 27

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is coming to the Bangs Event Center, located on 103 Ray Barnes Drive, on Friday, March 27. Showtimes are 5 and 7:30 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Bangs Municipal Development District and tickets can be purchased in person at Bangs Thrift Mart, TexasBank in Bangs, and Bangs City Hall. In person tickets are $14 for adults and $8 for children ages 2-12 and seniors ages 65 and up. Children under 2 are admitted free. Tickets can also be purchased online here until 10 p.m. Thursday, March 26. Online tickets are $14.75 for adults and $8.75 for children and seniors. On circus day, tickets can only be purchased at the box office and will be $17 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus performs 200 shows per year in 17 states according to its website. “From beautiful animals to high-flying aerialists, our show truly has something for everyone! Our show is 90 minutes of fast-paced fun. You won’t want to miss America’s last traditional Big Top Circus,” the website says.

​The website further states the 2026 cast includes Macias Duo – Juggling; Trey Key – Big Cats; Miss Gianna – Performing Dogs; Romario – Tight Wire; Perez Duo – Wheel of Destiny ; Leo – Circus Clown; Romichel Macias – Foot Juggling; and Simone Key – Trapeze & Fire Eating.

The midway opens an hour before the show featuring a full concession stand, pony rides, face painting and inflatable rides.
