Early Lady Horns 71, Dublin 32

EARLY – The playoff-bound Early Lady Horns wrapped up the regular season with a 71-32 Senior Night victory over the Dublin Lady Lions Tuesday.

Early (24-10, 11-3) led 19-9 after one quarter, 38-13 at halftime, and 60-29 through three periods.

Scoring for the Lady Horns were Andie Simpson with 16 points, Aliyah Harlan with 15, Avery Williams with 12, Gabby Benson with nine, Cassidy Frerichs with six, Kayleigh Torrez with five, and Cali Vargas and Mia Gomez with four points apiece.

Blanket Tigers 38, Cross Plains 31

BLANKET – The Blanket Tigers moved to 7-3 in District 21-A boys basketball action and 18-5 for the season with a 38-31 home win over Cross Plains Tuesday night.

Blanket trailed 8-6 after one quarter and 14-12 at halftime, but surged in front 22-19 heading the fourth period. Kannon Kensing scored 15 points for the Tigers followed by Mason Beck with 11, Karter Keel with 10, and Albert Espinosa and Cole Furry with one point apiece.

Zephyr Lady Bulldogs 35, Baird 26

BAIRD – The Zephyr Lady Bulldogs improved to 19-14 on the season with a 35-26 non-district victory at Baird Tuesday.

Zephyr 9-8 after one quarter, 21-12 at halftime, and 21-16 heading to the fourth period.

The Lady Bulldogs received 11 points from Kenlyn King, nine from Avery Stevens, eight from Calyn Kubin, three from Sydney Hobson, and two points from Kirstan King.
