Donna Kay Cobb, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in Austin, Texas. A visitation for Donna will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2026 at Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba. A graveside service at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery will follow the visitation and begin at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Alan Arthur officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.

Donna was born on November 14, 1949, in San Saba, Texas, and grew up in Goldthwaite, Texas, where she developed lifelong values centered on family, faith, and caring for others.

Donna was a devoted and compassionate woman with a sweet, gentle spirit, whose caring nature extended into both her personal life and her profession. She was a registered nurse and proudly served as a school nurse in San Saba, Texas, where she cared for countless children and families with kindness and dedication.

She was known for her warmth and her natural ability to care for those around her, always offering love, support, and encouragement. Donna enjoyed spending time at church, working in her yard, and listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty. She loved finding a good bargain at a thrift store or garage sale. She delighted in simple pleasures such as sunset boat rides, entertaining family at the lake, and golf cart rides with her grandkids, where she created cherished memories filled with laughter and togetherness. Above all, she treasured time spent with family and friends.

Family was the heart of Donna’s life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nina Beth, and her sister, Brenda Schwartz. She is survived by her brother, Randy Cobb, and wife Cindy; her three daughters, Tana Burnham, Roi-Ann Kidd and husband Trey, and Kynda Edmondson and husband Britton. Donna was a proud grandmother to Kory Vogel, Kelsey Cantu and husband Alfred, Jensen Kidd, Bryli Edmondson, and Brody Edmondson. She is also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donna’s life was defined by love, faith, and devotion to others. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Texas Alzheimer’s Association on the txalz.org website.

Online condolences can be made at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com

Pallbearers: Britton Edmondson, Brody Edmondson, Trey Kidd, Randy Cobb, LeJay Cobb, and Alfred Cantu.
