The City of Early launched its low-cost spay and neuter program for residents in 2024 and is proud to expand the program this month to include microchipping services, made possible through a generous grant from Petco Love.
Spaying, neutering, and microchipping pets help reduce homeless animals and overcrowded shelters, improve public health by limiting roaming behaviors, and increase the chances of reuniting lost or stolen pets with their families. These services are safe, affordable, and provide long-term peace of mind for pet owners.
The program is designed to assist low-income pet owners within the City of Early who may face financial barriers to these essential services.
