The Woman’s Club of Brownwood is accepting funding applications from charitable and non-profit organizations.
The deadline to submit applications is March 10, 2026. Funds will be distributed May 19, 2026, at the Woman’s Club luncheon meeting at the Brownwood Country Club.
Organized in 1973, the Woman’s Club of Brownwood is a non-profit organization of approximately 90 members whose motto is “United in friendship, inspired by need.” The club promotes education, civic welfare, and philanthropic projects throughout the community.
Each year, club members organize a fundraising project, and the funds raised are donated to charitable organizations at the May luncheon. The amount awarded depends on funds raised and the number and specifics of grant applications received.
Applicants must be charitable and/or non-profit organizations. Preference is given to organizations that serve the local area and will use funds locally. Organizations that received a grant in the previous year must explain how funds were used and provide a timeline for use of any new funds.
Organizations may request applications by contacting Sandra Smith at jands221@outlook.com.
